don't talk to me about audiobooks i want it in text i want it in ink i want that ink to be on a piece of paper i want that piece of paper to be bound together with other pieces of paper with ink-printed words on them and i want the style of the binding to be a codex and i want to sew one time in 2012 i briefly mastered reading fanfic and knitting at the same time i have been chasing that high ever since becca speaks

one of my favorite romance novel tropes is when the heroine is like, “i wonder why he hates me what did i do wrong? he seemed to like me a little bit ago… i thought we were flirting??”

meanwhile the hero is like, nearly vibrating out of his skin trying to play it cool and conceal the fact that he now has a massive boner in public because the heroine idk…. existed near him.
